Leather Braid Chin Cord/Strap

Chin cord/straps, known in cattle country as stampede strings, provide security and assurance your hat will stay put. Featuring a sliding wood bead that joins together two, four plait braids of leather, adjustable for total comfort. Instructions for Use:

1. Hold the cotter pins tightly together and push them through the stitching where the sweatband meets the body.
2. Pull the pins completely through the base of the sweatband until the braid is firmly against the sweatband.
3. Spread and bend the pins outward, as close to horizontal as possible.
4. Once bent, the pins provide a secure attachment of the chin strap.
