African Safari Pith Helmet

The African Safari Pith Helmet is made from the core (pith) of trees that grow in northern Vietnam. They are handmade one piece at a time. This helmet, like all other pith helmets we carry, is incredible lightweight as the 4-ply wood interior has a low density (similar to balsa wood). Featuring a dark khaki cotton twill with a stylish cream pleated hat band, the African Safari Pith Helmet is ready for adventure!

 

Please Note: Pith helmets can be immersed in water, whereby the wearer stays cool during use on hot summer days. When wet the hat may become a bit softer, but then dries to its original state. Please submerge the outside of the helmet carefully, without allowing water to spill into the interior of the helmet.
